WA bushfire no longer a threat to lives

The alert for a bushfire north of Perth has been downgraded from a watch and act warning to an advice.

Lives and homes are no longer under threat from a bushfire north of Perth.

The alert level has been downgraded to an advice for people in the southern part of Bullsbrook in the City of Swan, with authorities warning that there is still a lot of smoke in the area.

The Department of Fire and Emergency Services said the fire started between Sawpit Road, Warbrook Road and Railway Parade.

The cause of the fire is unknown.
