WA man in custody over woman's death

A 47-year-old West Australian man is in custody after a 50-year-old woman died at a home, south of Perth.

A 47-year-old man is in custody after a woman died at a home, south of Perth.

Police were called to the North Dandalup property at 2am on Thursday after reports of a seriously injured woman.

Despite efforts to keep the 50-year-old alive, she died.

The man, who is known to the woman, is assisting police with their investigation.
