WA mum charged over baby's death

A teenage mum from Western Australia's South West region has been charged over the death of her four-month-old baby.

An 18-year-old woman has been charged with aggravated grievous bodily harm after her four-month-old baby died from serious injuries in Western Australia's South West region.

The baby was brought to Bunbury Regional Hospital on May 26 and transferred to Princess Margaret Hospital for Children in Perth where the infant died two days later.

The woman is due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court later on Wednesday.
