WA police charge man over teen death

WA police have charged a 55-year-old man with manslaughter over the death of a 14-year-old boy in bushland near Kalgoorlie.

A man has been charged with manslaughter after a 14-year-old boy was found dead near Kalgoorlie.

Police responded to reports of a crash in bushland off Clancy Street in Boulder on Monday morning, and discovered the dead boy.

A 55-year-old man has been refused bail and is scheduled to appear at Kalgoorlie Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

Police discovered a stolen motorbike and a ute linked to the owner of the stolen bike.

Kalgoorlie detectives are still investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
