WA surf event on hold again

The World Surf League event at Margaret River has been put on hold once more with organisers calling another lay day.

Organisers have called another lay day at the World Surf League event at Margaret River in Western Australia.

The competition remains on hold at the women's quarter-final and men's fourth-round stages after three consecutive lay days but organisers are confident improved conditions are on the way.

The competition window runs until Tuesday.
