A 40-year-old woman has been swept to her death in Bali after falling into a swollen river.
The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade has confirmed the 40-year-old woman from Perth had died at about 4pm (WST) on Sunday.
"The department is providing consular assistance to her family," a spokesman told AAP.
Following several days of heavy rain, the woman was reportedly walking with her partner in the Kerobokan area when they are both believed to have slipped and fallen into the water.
The man was able to pull himself free, but the woman was swept away. Her body was found hours later between 100m and 200m downstream.

The latest tragedy is the fourth death of an Australian on the Indonesian holiday island in the past six months.
Linda Margaret Chilver, 54, died after being found by the side of the road at Ungasan, in the southern area of Jimbaran Bay, after an apparent hit-and-run last month.
Perth teenager Liam Davies died after suffering methanol poisoning from drinking contaminated vodka on the island of Lombok on New Year's Eve.
And Queensland woman Denni North was found dead at the side of a pool at a villa in Canggul in December.
