Former Test wicketkeeper Matthew Wade has been fined $6000 for poor conduct during Hobart's BBL final loss to Adelaide Strikers.

Cricket Australia fined Wade after he was run out for a diamond duck on Sunday and smashed his bat in frustration against the seat.

Wade was the star in the Hurricanes' semi-final win over Perth Scorchers but was relegated to No.6 in the batting line-up for the final with the return of opener D'Arcy Short.

He lost the gloves to current Test keeper Tim Paine a game earlier after keeping the entire home and away season.

This was the 30-year-old's second level 1 offence this year, after getting in the face of dismissed Sydney Thunder batsman Jos Buttler on New Year's Day.

Should he be found guilty of another low-level offence before July 2019, he faces a ban of up to eight matches.

Sydney Sixers keeper Alyssa Healy also caught the attention of umpires during a dismissal on Sunday but escaped with a reprimand.

Healy stumped a diving Elyse Villani before clapping her gloves near the head of the Perth Scorchers captain - a level-two offence deemed "contrary to the spirit of the game".

Unlike Wade, Healy didn't contest the offence.
