Gareth Anscombe has retained the Wales fly-half role ahead of Dan Biggar for Saturday's Cardiff clash against Australia (Sunday 0420 AEDT).

Anscombe impressed during Wales' 21-10 victory over Scotland last weekend, when Biggar was unavailable as England-based players were ruled out because that game fell outside World Rugby's Test window.

Biggar and his fellow British and Irish Lions back - wing Liam Williams - are on the bench among three changes as head coach Warren Gatland hands starts to wing Josh Adams, prop Tomas Francis and lock Adam Beard.

Wales team:

Leigh Halfpenny, George North, Jonathan Davies, Hadleigh Parkes, Josh Adams, Gareth Anscombe, Gareth Davies, Ross Moriarty, Justin Tipuric, Dan Lydiate, Alun Wyn Jones (capt), Adam Beard, Tomas Francis, Ken Owens, Nicky Smith.
