Walker cleared of injury for Manly

Manly playmaker Dylan Walker has been cleared of serious injuryn after leaving the field in Saturday's loss to North Queensland.

Manly injury woes have been eased with Dylan Walker cleared of serious injury after spending the final 20 minutes of Saturday's 34-18 loss to North Queensland on the sidelines.

Walker sent a scare through the Manly camp which has already been hit hard by injuries when he left the field with a leg problem at Brookvale Oval.

With Tom Trbojevic, Brett Stewart and Api Koroisau watching from the stands against the premiers, another injury to one of their stars was the last thing coach Trent Barrett needed.

However Barrett said Walker's condition wasn't serious and he would be right to take his place against Brisbane after the representative round break.

"He's got a hip and rib problem but he'll be okay in a fortnight," Barrett said.

Stewart and Koroisau are also expected to be fit to take on the Broncos as part of the Suncorp Stadium double-header on May 14 however Trbojevic is expected to miss six weeks with a high ankle sprain.

"We need this week off," Barrett said.

"That was the last of our five-day turnarounds which is really good, we can get some good training in, get them back on deck and fix a few things."
