The names on the Queensland team list will be all too familiar to long suffering NSW fans this year if all goes to plan for new coach Kevin Walters.
But Walters hopes an "unknown" will also help extend the Maroons' all conquering ways.
Walters has ruled out tinkering with his side this year despite inheriting an ageing Queensland line-up from Mal Meninga, saying only injury or suspension will force changes.
However, Walters will groom someone in his quest to extend Queensland's run of nine State of Origin series wins in 10 years - unheralded deputy Anthony Seibold.
Manly assistant Seibold, 41, has suddenly emerged from left field as a future Maroons coaching candidate after being taken under Walters' wing this year.

Walters admits few would be familiar with the former Melbourne Under 20s mentor.
But he backed Seibold to make a name for himself as part of Walters' quest to build Queensland's coaching depth.
"He is a bit unknown but he has been in our system for several years," Walters said of the former Queensland Under 18s coach.
"That's one of my goals during my tenure, to bring some coaches through.
"Like our players, our coaching pool isn't as big as NSW either.
"I thought it was important to identify a young coach.
"I want to make sure we improve and I think that is one of the best ways."
If former Broncos prop Seibold blossoms at Origin level, NSW will only have one of their own to blame.
Walters hailed former Blues coach Craig Bellamy for his work with Seibold at NRL club Melbourne.
"There's been some excellent coaches that have come out of the Melbourne Storm," Walters said.
"Craig Bellamy has been one of the best coaches over the last 10 or 15 years to turn ex-players into coaches underneath him.
"And while NRL is totally different to Origin, I think it is important to have someone on our coaching staff working currently in the NRL."
Walters said Seibold would mimic his role at Manly and be Queensland's defensive coach.
Walters denied talk that he was trying to cut costs by hiring an NRL assistant when putting the broom through support staff.
He said if anything, he wanted the QRL to spend more money.
"We need to throw every dollar we can at this Origin side," he said.
"We need good support and people around the players to give them every opportunity to play well for Queensland."
Apart from Seibold, Walters hired ex-national shotput champion Chris Gaviglio as his strength and conditioning coach, Matthew Hislop as team doctor and new physio Robert Godbolt.
