A Jewish rights group believes it has confirmed the death of Nazi leader, Alois Brunner, in Syria.

The Simon Wiesenthal Center says Mr Brunner was an SS officer and an assistant to Holocaust architect Adolf Eichmann.

It says he probably died four years ago in Damascus after fleeing to Syria in the 1950s.

The Center's Director, Doctor Efraim Zuroff, spoke to Zara Zaher about Alois Brunner's role in the Second World War.
