'Warakurna' now showing in Canberra

An exhibition featuring the works of artists from Warakurna, WA, now on show at the National Museum in Canberra, is offering a snapshot of what life is like in one of the most remote places in the world.

The artists of Warakurna are telling stories ranging from early European contact through to local football matches.

The collection will be on display at the National Museum until November next year.
