Waratahs' Latu facing Super suspension

The NSW Waratahs' one-point Super Rugby win over the Sunwolves looks to have come at a cost with hooker Tolu Latu booked for a red-card offence by SANZAAR.

NSW Waratahs hooker Tolu Latu is facing a Super Rugby suspension after being cited for dangerous play.

SANZAAR has confirmed the 26-year-old had been booked for dangerous play in a ruck during the Waratahs' one-point win against the Sunwolves.

The incident happened in the 79th minute of Saturday's match in Tokyo and was deemed to be a red-card offence.

Latu will face SANZAAR's foul play committee on Monday.
