Star Melbourne United guard Casper Ware admits the demolition job his team did on NBL ladder leaders Adelaide will be hard to replicate.
Ware slotted 30 points as Melbourne rolled the 36ers by 31 points to underline their title ambitions.
The ex-NBA point guard as well as captain Chris Goulding, who tipped in 20 points, starred as Melbourne surged into second place on the back of the victory.
Ware, 26, said even he was stunned by the margin of the win at the State Netball and Hockey Centre.
"I was surprised but we played a good game," Ware said on Tuesday.

"Chris hit some tough shots, I hit some tough shots and when you hit shots like that it's hard for things to go wrong."
But Ware didn't expect his team to be able to deliver the same striking performance each time they took to the court.
"You're not going to play the same all the time, and we're just trying to hang our hats on defence and that's one thing that's not going to change."
Ware has set the league alight since his arrival in mid-November to replace former league MVP Cedric Jackson, who bore the brunt of Melbourne's poor start to the season.
He's the competition's leading scorer, averaging 23 points.
Coach Dean Demopoulos said he was surprised by how quickly Ware, who has previously played in Europe and China, had settled in.
"It's a surprise that anyone would be like that but I'm surprised that he's even a better guy than he is a player," Demopoulos said.
"We're blessed in that way."
After early injuries contributed to their patchy form, Demopoulos said keeping players on the court had been key to Melbourne's rise up the ladder.
"We got healthy and made some personnel decisions that have turned out good so far and that's why we are where we are," Demopoulos said.
"We just have to maintain our health and work on things that we feel are important, irrespective of what the competition does."
United next face third-placed Illawarra in Wollongong on Saturday night.
