Golden State's Klay Thompson has woken up a slow-starting Warriors team by scoring 17 points in the second quarter to set up a 116-95 NBA win in New York.

Thompson finished with 34 points for the match on Sunday as the first-placed Warriors recovered from a first quarter in which they scored just 18 points.
