Warriors centre Solomone Kata says the NRL side have plenty more in their locker ahead of the visit of Melbourne on Friday.
The Auckland-based side eked out a 26-22 win in round one against the Knights last week, but will face a much larger challenge against the Storm.
Despite the absence of injured Kiwis guns Jesse Bromwich and Tohu Harris, Melbourne remain one of the strongest squads in the NRL.
Queensland greats Cameron Smith and Cooper Cronk continue to form the Storm spine, while Kenny Bromwich and Dale Finucane add back-row muscle.
They began their NRL campaign with a brutal 12-6 win over Canterbury with tries from Cheyse Blair and Suliasi Vunivalu, who are both set to feature in Auckland.

Despite stumbling to victory against Newcastle, Kata insisted his Warriors side could find another gear for the Storm's arrival.
"A win is a win but we can do better than that," the 22-year-old said.
"We saw in the trials what we can do."
Kata, who scored a try and made four tackles against Newcastle, can nevertheless take heart from his defensive showing alongside Ken Maumalo.
The pair managed to lock up shop on their left edge, with the Knights' three tries all stemming from the right-side defence of Tui Lolohea and David Fusitu'a.
The Tongan-born ace said he'd focused his NRL pre-season energies on defence after returning from Kiwis duty in last year's Four Nations.
"It's something I've really tried to work on, that confidence between Ken and I, and (five-eighth) Ata Hingano," Kata said.
"We saw that on the weekend but we need to keep improving."
Kata also said he was yet to decide whether to play for New Zealand or Tonga in the Rugby League World Cup later this year.
