Australia's Andrew Bogut has pulled down 16 rebounds as the Golden State Warriors escaped with a 108-105 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers in a clash of the NBA's best and worst teams.
It took a Harrison Barnes three-pointer with 0.2 left on the clock to secure the away win for the defending champion Warriors, who improved their season record to 43-4 while the 76ers slipped to 7-41.
Guard Klay Thompson scored 32 points for the Warriors as they matched the 1966-67 Sixers for the best 47-game start in league history.
Centre Bogut played 20 minutes for the Warriors, also dishing out four assists and scoring eight points.
Stephen Curry finished with 23 points, while Draymond Green contributed 10 points, 13 rebounds and nine assists for the Warriors. Barnes finished with 11 points.
The Warriors, who led by 24 points in the third quarter and 15 with 5:41 left in the game, saw the Sixers go on a 20-5 run that included seven points by guard Ish Smith.
Smith's steal and breakaway dunk with 22.3 seconds left tied the score at 105-105.
The Sixers moved to an early 17-10 lead behind guard Nik Stauskas, who scored seven points, but the Warriors reeled off 15 straight and never trailed again.
Thompson had eight of those points, including a pair of three-pointers.
In a battle of two teams who want to contend with the Warriors, Cleveland hosted the San Antonio Spurs, who were without veteran big man Tim Duncan.
And it was the Cavaliers, led by LeBron James who came out on top, winning 117-103 as they won their first match against one of the NBA's elite teams this season after previously being beaten by the Warriors, Spurs and Chicago Bulls.
James ended up leading the scoring with 29 points, but it was the first half of Kevin Love that set the Cavs up, as Love poured in 18 points by the main break.
The Spurs fought back at the start of the third quarter going on a 8-0 run before duel threes from Love and Aussie guard Matthew Dellavedova ended the run.
Dellavedova, who had 15 for the match along with five rebounds and three assists started the fourth quarter hot as he scored eight points as Kyrie Irving dropped 10 to score the Cavs first 18 of the final quarter.
