Wasp causes Qld woman to drive off bridge

A 25-year-old woman who was trying to avoid a wasp in her car has accidentally driven off the side of a bridge in central Queensland.

A woman has accidentally driven off a central Queensland bridge while trying to avoid a wasp in her car.

The 25-year-old was travelling over a bridge at Habana, north of Mackay, on Friday morning when she suddenly veered off the road, with her car falling two metres to the ground.

She walked away without serious injury but has been taken to Mackay Hospital as a precaution.
