Queensland Water Commission boss Mary Boydell will be among the next group of people to give evidence to the Queensland Floods Commission of Inquiry.
The Queensland Water Commission is an independent, statutory authority responsible for securing and sustaining water supplies in southeast Queensland and other designated regions.
Brisbane City Councillor Ken Morris is also due to give evidence.
In a statement to the inquiry, he said there was a difference of understanding between dam engineers and the council on water levels in the Brisbane River, particularly at Moggill.
Mark Babister, an independent consultant who reviewed Wivenhoe Dam's operation and the flood event, is also due to appear.
Meanwhile, dam safety regulator Peter Allen, will continue his evidence on Tuesday.
On Monday, he said he would welcome legal input on the next revision of the manual, but pointed out there were no penalties in the legislation for non-compliance with it.
He maintained the official view that Wivenhoe significantly mitigated January's flood.
