Watership Down is a fantasy novel about rabbits, and what happened to them when the developers moved in. Now the classic tale might be coming true, with Sandleford- the land that inspired the novel- earmarked for development.

The British government is changing planning laws and in Sandleford, near Newbury, there are plans for 2000 homes and a country park.

Residents are divided on the proposal and author Richard Adams is one of those speaking out against it.
