With employment opportunities scarce and employers seeking only experienced workers, young people are among the main groups seeking job opportunities abroad.
" I think it's fairly dis-heartening for young people who just got their honours degree or got their diplomas, spent 4 years studying in college just to go back to their part-time job, that they were working every weekend, or not even have a job, go on the dole or go get social welfare," Irish job seeker Lindy O'Grady said.

Irish immigration agent Liz O'Hara is concerned about desperate families wanting to immigrate.
"They don't really want to leave Ireland and I think that's really important and that's the sad part of it. They feel that they're being forced to. They have no choice," Ms O'Hara said.
