Western Sydney home shot at overnight

A house in western Sydney is riddled with bullet holes but there are no reports of injuries.

A western Sydney home has been sprayed with bullets in what police say was a targeted shooting.

Residents in Scott Road, Colyton, reported hearing a number of loud noises about 2.30am (AEST) on Saturday.

Around five hours later, residents of one dwelling found a number of holes in the front facade.

There have been no reports of injury.

Police say they believe the incident was targeted.
