The Wests Tigers have battened down the hatches as they attempt to avoid a sixth consecutive NRL loss against Canberra on Saturday.
The Tigers have been narrowly beaten in their past two matches against Newcastle and Melbourne, and now coach Jason Taylor has told them to block out all outside influences as the pressure continues to build.
"We just need to play our own game," forward Sauaso Sue responded when asked what message Taylor had given the players ahead of the clash in Canberra.
"Don't get stuck into the media and play our own game."
The Tigers have crashed to 14th on the ladder after they began their season with back-to-back wins over the Warriors and Manly.
Taylor's side will again be without captain Aaron Woods, who is sidelined for at least another two weeks with an ankle injury and back-rower Curtis Sironen admits the Tigers are feeling the heat.
"There obviously is (pressure)," he said.
"Our fans and everyone wants us to succeed and so do we but we`re close and we know we're doing everything in our power.
"Getting beat by two points two weeks ago and then one point in golden point has definitely taken its toll. But surprisingly the morale isn't too down."
