A number of European countries have stepped up border checks as thousands of migrants and refugees continue to flood into the EU.
Some leaders are warning that the crisis directly threatens Europe's open border policy, the Schengen agreement.
Others point out the Dublin Regulation, which requires people to seek asylum in the first European country they enter, is being completely ignored.
Central Europe Correspondent Kerry Skyring is in Austria and he's told Brianna Roberts the future of those policies is under question.
