Northern Territory Police were so disappointed at being left off New Zealand Police's now infamous Running Man dance-off challenge, they produced their own video, set to the 1982 song 'What About Me'.
The video begins with an officer watching the New Zealand Police video, before alerting his comrades of the snub, causing a tongue-in-cheek solemn reaction.
The dance-off battle began when New Zealand Police challenged their counterparts at Victoria Police, NSW Police Force, Western Australia Police, Queensland Police Service and NYPD on Wednesday.
New York Police Department responded immediately by strutting their dance moves in a video on Thursday.
The NT response includes the caption: "Hey NZ Police Recruitment did you forget us when challenging every jurisdiction in Australia (and the world) to the #RunningManChallenge?"
Posted to the joint Northern Territory Police Fire and Emergency Services Facebook page, the video has been watched more than 28,000 times.
