* Meet with Liberal strategists on Wentworth by-election and timing of Malcolm Turnbull retirement.
* Ensure rogue Nationals MPs who threatened to quit if a Liberal spill occurred do not go to the crossbenches.
* Rejig policies on power prices, aged care, health and small business.
