From genuine queries to outright insults - the most searched Google phrases made by Europeans about the UK have been released by digital marketing company, Search Laboratory.
The top UK-related question asked in the Netherlands was "why are the British so ugly?", while the Danish want to know "why do English judges wear wigs?".
When it comes to Britain's traditional rival Germany, the most asked question was "why are the British so stupid?".
People in Poland want to know why English flour is so strange, while in Portugal the No.1 asked phrase was "why are the English such crybabies?".
People in Spain chose to dignify their views of the UK by simply typing "the English are strange".
