It's been almost a year since Omar Jasika made his first grand slam appearance at Melbourne Park at just 18 years old.
After starring on the junior grand slam circuit, Jasika won the 2016 Australian Open wildcard, winning his first round before he was knocked out by Frenchman Jo Wilfried Tsonga.
Now he's reclaimed the honour for 2017, and he's intent on doing some damage.
"It's definitely an incredible feeling," he told SBS News.
"Sort of took me a few days to realise what I did. Last year was a good experience for me, the best of my life and my tennis."
Born in Australia after his parents migrated from Bosnia in the early 1990s during the Bosnian war, tennis is in the family blood.
Younger brother Amor is the under-12's Australian Championship title holder, his father Admir is a tennis coach and the brothers' first teacher.

Jasika said while his father was no longer his coach, his support was still vital.
"My parents support me the most, there's been there for my whole life and I don't rely on anyone as much as my parents," he said.
"Dad still gives me advice and sometimes I say, 'yes yes I know', but it's all good."
In his grand slam debut Jasika was knocked out in the second round, but he says he's now a much stronger competitor.
After a year on the International Tennis Federation men's circuit, the 19 year old has grown physically and mentally and is ready to create an upset at the 2017 Australian Open.
"I'm just going to go out there with a positive mindset with what happens, I've been playing good tennis and nothing bothers me," he said.
"I'm just going to enjoy the moment."
The 2017 Australian Open begins on January 16.
