“I have decided to support the ALP, a Gillard Labor government will have my support to ensure supply,” Mr Wilkie said.
“I would emphasise my future support only extends to supply and a no confidence motion… I will judge every piece of policy on its merits,” Mr Wilkie said.

Mr Wilkie, the new member for the Tasmanian seat of Denison announced the decision after considerable talks with both sides of politics.
Wilkie had knocked back prior attempts by from Labor with what he termed a detailed offer from Labor however deemed Labor's first attempt as unacceptable.
Wilkie's support comes with various stipulations, but he believes they ALP best suits his criteria.
"I have judged that it is the Australian Labor Party that best meets my criteria that the next government must be stable, must be competent and must be ethical," said Andrew Wilkie,
The support from Wilkie gives Labor increased momentum leading into the announcement from fellow independents Bob Katter Tony Windsor and Rob Oakeshott over who they will support to form a government.
Member for New England Tony Windsor announced in a statement that talks continue between the independents and various officials over who can form a stable government.
