Mr Wilkie, the new member for the Tasmanian seat of Denison, has received what he's termed a detailed offer from Labor, and is waiting for one from the coalition.
But it hasn't pushed him any closer to a decision, and he's also declined to put a new ETA on when that might come.

He has said, however, that the formal offer from Prime Minister Julia Gillard has gone some way to addressing some of his key issues, including parliamentary reform.
Meanwhile, fellow independents Bob Katter, Tony Windsor and Rob Oakeshott will continue talks in Canberra today, including a briefing from Treasury secretary Ken Henry on costings.
