Wilton fire warning downgraded

An emergency warning for the town of Wilton in the NSW Southern Highlands has been downgraded to watch and act.

An emergency warning for a fire that had been threatening residents in the township of Wilton in the NSW Southern Highlands has been removed.

The RFS says the warning has been downgraded from emergency to watch and act.

Picton Road has reopened, the RFS said.
