Four of the world's top 10 men's tennis players will finalise their Australian Open preparations at the 2018 Kooyong Classic.

Wimbledon finalist Marin Cilic, two-time champion and titleholder David Goffin, French Open semi-finalist Dominic Thiem and rising Spaniard Pablo Carreno Busta have all committed to the round-robin exhibition event from January 9-12.

The star trio will be joined by US Open finalist Kevin Anderson, popular Frenchman Richard Gasquet and Japan's Yoshihito Nishioka in the eight-man field.

One spot is still to be filled with two months to go before the tournament's opening serve.

In one of the strongest fields in years, the 30th anniversary of the traditional pre-Australian Open event will feature four players from next week's ATP World Tour Finals in London.
