West Indies have taken the upper hand in the first innings of the third Test with India in St Lucia. West Indies are 1-107 in reply to India's first innings total of 373 at the conclusion of play on day two.
India were boosted with centuries from Ravichandran Ashwin and Wriddhiman Saha before the West Indies were steered through to stumps by Kraigg Brathwaite (53) and Darren Bravo (18).
Resuming on 5-234 overnight, Ashwin made 118 and wicketkeeper-batsman Wriddhiman Saha added 104 before India was bowled out in the second session, their partnership helped India to recover from a precarious 5-126.
Starting Wednesday's afternoon session on 5-316, the tourists soon lost Saha, caught behind off the bowling of Alzarri Joseph.
Worse was to come, though, with the dismissal triggering a lower order collapse as India lost five wickets for just 14 runs and slumped from 6-339 to 353 all out.

Ravindra Jadeja (6), Bhuvneshwar Kumar (0) and Ishant Sharma (0) all fell within minutes of each other as West Indies tore through India's tail end.
Among the bowlers, Miguel Cummins finished with 3-54, a haul that included Ashwin's wicket after the batsman completed his second century of the series, Joseph took 3-69, and Shannon Gabriel and Roston Chase chipped in with two wickets apiece.
Having batted through nine overs to reach tea without loss, the West Indies top order remained patient in the evening session.
Opener Leon Johnson (23), who replaced Rajendra Chandrika in the West Indies lineup, was punished for attempting a risky single as he was run out with a direct hit from Lokesh Rahul.
With rain expected over the next two days, the chances for both teams to create a winning position may be limited.
India leads the four-match series 1-0.
