Exporters, such as wine producers, and tourism industries will benefit from the drop pf the Australian dollar, while importers, shoppers and Australians travelling overseas will feel the pain.

The downward trend is set to continue for the next year and a half, with the dollar expected to hover between 85 to 88 US cents.
