Witnesses called in over NT woman's death

Police are seeking information on a potential incident at a Darwin beach, which may have led to a woman's death last week.

Witnesses have been called to come forward as police try to piece together what led to the death of a 41-year-old woman in Darwin last week.

The indigenous woman was found with serious head injuries on September 12 in a foreshore park near Nightcliff beach and died three days later.

Police believe the woman was among a group of people and that a disturbance had possibly taken place leading to the woman suffering the fatal injuries.
