Woman accused of DV stabbing in Sydney

A 27-year-old woman has been accused of stabbing a man in the head at a Sydney home after earlier being ejected from a local pub.

A woman accused of stabbing an older man in the head in a Sydney home was allegedly earlier thrown out of the local pub.

The woman, aged 27, was arrested after a 39-year-old man was found with a head wound at a home in Bidwell about 12.30am on Saturday, police say.

His injuries were not considered life-threatening but he was taken to hospital.

The woman was later charged with domestic-violence-related reckless wounding and common assault.

She was also charged over an altercation she allegedly had with another person at the local pub earlier in the night.

The woman was bailed and is due to appear at Mount Druitt Local Court on Monday.
