A Russian woman has been charged over a violent brawl involving several men on a cruise ship off Sydney which erupted following an argument about a queue for the toilets.
The 37-year-old woman allegedly struck a 21-year-old man with an empty wine bottle, causing a cut to his head, during the fight about 1am on Sunday, which involved her husband.
NSW Police say the woman and six men - including the injured man - were removed from the Pacific Explorer at Bradleys Head later on Sunday afternoon.
The men were subsequently released without charge while the Russian national was charged with reckless wounding and affray.
She was granted conditional bail to appear at the Downing Centre Local Court on March 9.
P&O Cruises says it called marine police out to the ship in line with the company's "strict policy of zero tolerance of excessive behaviour that affects the safety, comfort and enjoyment of other guests".
"The group removed yesterday will no longer be welcome to travel with P&O Cruises or any of its associated brands," a company spokesman said in a statement.
The Pacific Explorer - which departed the harbour on Friday for a three-night round-trip cruise - returned to Sydney on Monday morning.
