Woman dies a week after NSW car crash

A 24-year-old woman has died in hospital eight days after her car left the road and crashed into a number of trees in northern NSW.

A woman has died in hospital more than a week after her car left the road and hit several trees in northern NSW.

The 24-year-old was driving in the early hours of Sunday, March 4, when she veered off the road and crashed into the trees in Cudgen south of Tweed Heads

The woman had to be freed from her car before being airlifted to Gold Coast Hospital where she died on Monday, police said.
