An elderly driver has died after a week in hospital following a car crash on the NSW Central Coast.

The 91-year-old woman died in hospital on Friday night, a week after her car collided with another car travelling in the opposite direction, and then into parked car in Terrigal.

The 70-year-old male driver and his 74-year-old female passenger were treated in hospital for minor injuries following the crash last Friday morning.
