A woman has died after her car collided with a truck on a highway in Elmore, northern Victoria, the second fatal crash in the state in 24 hours.

A woman has died following a collision between a car and truck in Victoria's north.

The two vehicles collided in Elmore, north of Bendigo on the Northern Highway, about 7.30pm on Wednesday, with the female driver dying at the scene.
