A woman in the United States has given birth to the biggest baby on record for Iowa's busiest birthing unit - without a caesarian, and without an epidural.
Asher Stewardson was born nine days overdue at Mercy Medical Hospital and weighed in at 5.9 kilograms.
Asher's birth was the largest on record for the hospital but falls short of the state record by roughly a pound.

Mother Kendal Stewardson said Asher's size is normal for her and husband Joshua, with their first child Judah weighing 5.45 kilograms at his own birth.
"Everyone always like double takes when they see him, but for us it's pretty standard," said Stewardson.
