Woman raped on Qld footpath

A 23-year-old man has been charged with rape after allegedly attacking a young Korean woman on the street north of Brisbane.

A young Korean woman is in hospital after she was allegedly raped on a footpath in Queensland's Moreton Bay Region.

The 20-year-old Korean national was attacked on a pathway in Morayfield at 11.30am on Friday, police say.

A 23-year-old Caboolture man was arrested a short distance away and will appear in Caboolture Magistrates Court on Saturday charged with one count of rape.
