Woman run over at NSW music festival

A 22-year-old woman has been run over in the middle of the night at a music festival near Byron Bay.

A woman has been run over at a dance party on the NSW north coast.

The 22-year-old was lying under a ute and was crushed when the driver tried to move his vehicle on Shara Boulevard in Ocean Shores at about 1.15am on Saturday, police say.

She has been taken to Gold Coast Hospital in a stable condition.
