Woman run over while beach camping in WA

A woman remains in hospital with serious injuries after she was run over by a four-wheel-drive while camping at popular tourist spot Cable Beach in WA.

A 39-year-old woman remains in hospital after she was crushed by a four-wheel-drive while sleeping on Western Australia's Cable Beach.

Libby Gross was flown to Royal Perth Hospital with serious injuries after she was run over while camping with friends in Broome on Sunday morning.

Police are questioning a 56-year-old man.
