Police say after setting the vehicle alight, Alexandra Barnes ran into the middle of a busy highway claiming to be god.

"She came behind the counter and grabbed the yellow lighter and ran out the door," said clerk Edna Sandrus.

Witnesses ran to pull her away from the car and rescue her dogs.

Police say Barnes was taken to a hospital where she was likely to be kept for a mental evaluation.
