A 23-year-old woman who crashed down a 60-metre coastal cliff in California after swerving to avoid an animal has survived for seven days before hikers noticed her wrecked car below.
Chelsea and Chad Moore were hiking near Big Sur state park on Friday when they spotted the Jeep at the foot of the cliff and soon after found the injured driver, Angela Hernandez.
The Sacramento Bee reports one of the Moores stayed with the woman while the other called emergency services.
Hernandez crashed on July 6, the paper said.
