Women win air pistol silver medal

Australian shooters Dina Aspandiyarova and Pam McKenzie have won silver in the Commonwealth Games women's 10 metre air pistol pairs event after missing gold on a countback.

Australian shooters Dina Aspandiyarova and Pam McKenzie have won silver in the Commonwealth Games women's 10 metre air pistol pairs event after missing gold on a countback.

The top three teams all scored the same score of 759 out of 800, forcing a countback, which saw India take gold by just one point.

The home team and Australia each shot 190 in the fourth string of shooting, but India's Heena Sidhu and Annu Raj Singh shot 192 in the third, while Australia scored 191.

Canada's Lynda Hare and Dorothy Ludwig won bronze.
