Wong slams govt's shifting trade policies

Labor's foreign affairs spokeswoman Penny Wong has hit out at the federal government's confused priority list for trade deals.

The Turnbull government has come under fire for it's "chopping and changing" free trade deal priorities.

Labor's foreign affairs spokeswoman Penny Wong says negotiations with India, Indonesia, the European Union and now Britian post-Brexit have all been nominated as the government's top trade deal priority at different points in time.

"It points to a government being much more focused on press releases than a plan," she told ABC TV.
