Despite a sex scandal that forced Tiger Woods to take a break from playing golf, EA Games promoted its latest version of the Tiger Woods golf video game in New York.
The games, Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 11 and Tiger Woods PGA TOUR 11 Wii, allow video gamers and golf enthusiasts to play like a professional, or at least to the best of their ability.
Travis Sailer helped design the new games for EA, adding that the Tiger Woods franchise is one of their most successful.

"Tiger Woods franchise continues to be the best golf game, the most successful game on the market," said Sailer.
"Every year we make an amazing golf simulation game. It's authentic and the users love it, and this year we have a host of new features, " he said.
"It's Ryder Cup year, it's a huge event in golf. So, we are hugely excited to have that."
Woods, the world's No. 1 golfer, returned to the sport earlier this month after a riveting sex scandal forced him to take a break, during which he underwent treatment.
In his comeback tournament, he failed to win a fifth Masters, played each year at the Augusta National Golf Club, finishing in a tie for fourth place, five shots behind winner Phil Mickelson.
Since the November 2009 car accident that exposed allegations of multiple extramarital affairs, Accenture, AT&T, and PepsiCo's Gatorade brand have dumped Woods as a spokesman.
Procter & Gamble Co's shaving products maker Gillette and Tag Heuer, a unit of LVMH Moet Hennessy Louis Vuitton said they would continue their relationships but drop Woods from their marketing.
EA is one of a few companies that has chosen to continue its relationship with Woods.
"He's our cover athlete," noted Sailer.
"We've had a long standing relationship with him over the past decade now, and our relationship with him is rooted in golf."
Sailer added last year's sex scandal had not dulled sales of the game, according to consumer research.
"According to the NPD, our last year' sales, year over year, was up. So, we actually did very well in the sales department," he said.
The new Tiger Woods golf games will be available in North America on June 8.
They will be available worldwide on July 2.
EA said it has already begun working on next year's version of the Tiger Woods golf video games.
