WHAT WORLD LEADERS ARE SAYING ON THE TUNIS ATTACK:

* White House spokesman Josh Earnest says the US is prepared to offer assistance to Tunisian authorities in their investigation of the attack and "will continue to stand with our Tunisian partners against terrorist violence. This attack cruelly illustrates the threat that we are all confronted with in Europe, in the Mediterranean, around the world. France, Tunisia and Europe will act together to fight terrorism."

* President Francois Hollande expressed French "solidarity" with Tunisia

* Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos confirms on Twitter that two Colombian citizens were among the victims of the attack.
